Three beautiful purse, tote or stitching bag accessories – this time worked in an adaptation of the Bargello style of stitching. These three accessories are worked in the basic satin stitch over groups of four threads; they are easy to stitch in lovely, lustrous shades of NPI silk.

The set of Bargello Pockets include a checkbook cover for the horizontally folded checkbook, a card pocket for the many extra store and membership cards we carry, and a spectacles pocket with a center divider that keeps two pairs of glasses from fighting each other! In addition to being useful in your purse or tote, the pockets are wonderful for your stitching necessities, keeping threads, scissors and needles and special tools handy and safe. The designs for each pocket completely cover the linen – front and back – so no linen shows when the pocket is lined and assembled. Each accessory chart is sold separately and contains the graph as well as complete finishing instructions for the individual pocket.

Materials: 1/4 yd. 40ct Examplar, Lakeside Linens (any color will be acceptable as none of the linen is visible after the pockets are lined and finished)

The gorgeous accompanying tote bag is created from a woven tapestry fabric woven to coordinate with the accessories in the colors shown, lined with Pellon-reinforced acetate lining (which is divided on one side into four slot pockets) and the entire bag is finished with a zipper closure. The tote is completely FINISHED – there is no stitching or assembly required on your part!
